US President-elect Donald Trump on Sunday vowed to “prevent World War III” and also “the invasion of our borders” as he returns to the White House for a second stint. He made the remarks, a signal of fulfilling the promises that he made while campaigning last year, at a packed rally in Washington DC on the eve of his swearing in as the 47th President of the US.
Speaking at the Make America Great Again (MAGA) ‘victory rally’ at the Capital One Arena, Trump said, “We are going to give them the best first day, the biggest first week and the most extraordinary first 100 days of any presidency in American history.”
