Top hotels offering year-end staycation packages with several deals

New Delhi: Too late to plan a year-end vacation? Don’t worry-top hotels in your city are offering staycation packages featuring unlimited food and beverages, late check-outs until 4 pm, spa and salon appointments, and more. Unlike last year, hotels such as Four Seasons Mumbai and The Leela Palace in Bengaluru have rolled out all-inclusive staycation offers this year.At the Taj Mahal hotel in New Delhi, bookings for staycations are up this year despite a marginal increase in year-end package rates. A bespoke private poolside dining experience at the property on December 25 for two people can cost between Rs 50,000 to Rs 1.5 lakh. The December 31 package costs Rs 2 lakh per couple and includes a six-course menu, personalised butler service and live music with a one-night stay. The property has added more customised culinary experiences this year at the hotel’s Rick’s lounge and its wine lounge Captain’s Cellar. Other highlights include wellness treatments and private celebrations at its members-only club Chambers.
Four Seasons Bengaluru has never done parties for New Year before. This year, it has planned 2 curated parties on New Year’s Eve “to ring in the new year,” its general manager Biswajit Chakraborty said. The year-end package at Four Seasons Mumbai includes access for 2 adults to New Year’s Eve celebration at its 34th floor rooftop lounge AER including unlimited food and beverages besides a new year’s day “revival” brunch with unlimited food and beverages and a late check-out at 4 pm.

Taj Mahal hotel, Leela Palace, others offer wellness treatments, unlimited F&B, late check-out options

A spokesperson at The Leela Palace Bengaluru said the bookings are healthy and are likely to pick up further closer to December 31. Staycation packages at the property include a spa experience for two, a three-course meal at Zen restaurant, 15% savings on additional hotel services, and late check-outs till 3 pm.


Sheraton Grand Pune is offering a “feast buffet” on December 31 and guests can savour fusion food and regional favourites such as Bocconcini chaat, Burrata pani puri shots, vodka bhelpuri, Awadhi specialties like nihari gosht and murg rezala, besides South Indian classics like Malabar fish curry and kori ghassi chicken, and Eastern favourites like maccher jhol.A spokesperson at Shangri-La Eros New Delhi said bookings for this festive season have been promising, and the hotel anticipates special deals to be sold out.
