World Record of Excellence, England, will include and observe the campaign and, upon its success, will honor organizations and individuals who conduct blood donation camps with a minimum of 30 units. These contributors will receive a special certificate free of charge.
KARNAL : The National Integrated Forum of Artists and Activists (NIFAA), a renowned social organization, has once again taken up the noble cause of blood donation with the launch of “Samvedna-2”, an international blood donation and awareness campaign.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, NIFAA had organized 1,500 blood donation camps in a single day, contributing approximately one lakh units of blood to the nation’s blood banks. Now, under Samvedna-2, the organization has set an ambitious target to collect 1.5 lakh units of blood through 2,400 blood donation camps from March 21 to 23, commemorating the 94th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev.
Addressing a press conference at Mantralaya Restaurant, Karnal, NIFAA Founder Chairman Pritpal Singh Pannu announced that this initiative is part of the organization’s Silver Jubilee Year, during which NIFAA has pledged four major commitments:
1. Donation of 2.5 lakh units of blood within a year
2. Plantation of 25 lakh trees
3. Motivational lectures for 25 lakh students to instill a sense of dedication toward the nation and society
4. Development of a Blood Donation App to streamline the availability of blood for those in need.
The blood donation camps under Samvedna-2 will be organized across India with the support of the Indian Red Cross Society, the National Integrated Medical Association (NIMA), NIFAA’s nationwide branches, and other partner organizations. Moreover, extending its reach beyond national borders, NIFAA will organize blood donation camps in around 20 countries with the support of the Indian diaspora.
WORLD RECORD RECOGNITION FOR ORGANIZERS
NIFAA Convenor, Advocate Naresh Barana, informed that the World Record of Excellence,England, will observe the campaign and, upon its success, will honor organizations and individuals who conduct blood donation camps with a minimum of 30 units. These contributors will receive a special certificate free of charge. Furthermore, state-level award functions will be held to present International Awards to outstanding contributors.
Notably, the certificates for this international award will bear the authentic signatures of the families of legendary freedom fighters, including Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Ashfaqulla Khan, Ram Prasad Bismil, Chandra Shekhar Azad, and Udham Singh.
Statewide Blood Donation Drive in Haryana
NIFAA Haryana President Shravan Sharma stated that while 150 camps were held across the state during Samvedna-1, this time, the number is expected to exceed 200 camps. In Karnal district, specific targets have been set:
• March 21: Camps in Gharaunda and Assandh blocks
• March 22: Camps in Indri and Nilokheri blocks (minimum target 500 units)
• March 22 (Karnal City): Mega Blood Donation Camp targeting 1,000 units

Prominent NIFAA officials, including Co-Secretary Jaswinder Singh Bedi, Vice President Paramjit Singh Ahuja, Senior Advisor Harish Sharma, Advisor Bhupinder Singh, and National Executive Members Rajiv Nataraj, Rajneesh Chopra, Gaurav Poonia, and City President Maninder Singh, have appealed for support from:
