Tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev on the 94th Martyrdom Anniversary by NIFAA in Karnal
Hon’ble Governor of Gujarat Acharya Devvrat emphasized that the sacrifices of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev have given us the privilege of living in a free India. He was addressing a gathering as the chief guest at the “Vande Mataram” program, organized by the National Integrated Forum of Artists and Activists (NIFAA) on the occasion of the 94th martyrdom anniversary of the three great revolutionaries. Speaking to the distinguished audience, Acharya Devvrat narrated several inspiring incidents from the lives of the martyrs and described blood donation campaigns across the country as a true tribute to their legacy. He recalled that three generations of Bhagat Singh’s family dedicated themselves to the service of the nation and shared an anecdote about Bhagat Singh’s weight increasing before his execution, symbolizing his unwavering spirit. The Governor also remembered Late Abhay Singh Sandhu, the nephew of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, and praised his contributions to social service.
